Indra Crittin (b. 1999, Sion) is a Swiss photographer and artist based in Lausanne. While studying Philosophy and History and Aesthetics of Cinema, she also trained in dramatic arts, notably at the Centre de Création Helvétique des Arts de la Rue. Passionate about issues of representation and image education, she joined the programming committee of the Festival Cinéma Jeune Public in 2021. After several years of self-taught learning, she embarks on advanced training in photography at the Centre d'Enseignement Professionnel de Vevey (CEPV).

Indra envisages photography as a sensitive means of exploring social, intimate and taboo issues. Her research draws on the tools of dramatic play, both from theater and from creation in public spaces. She explores the performative dimension of photography, in its production, distribution and consumption. She is interested in the social role of images and the power relations at work in the photographic process, particularly in the practice of portraiture. She is currently preparing her diploma work, which will be presented in a group exhibition at the Salle Perrier from June 26 to 29, 2025.
